I had discovered Ama’s content when she was already doing superheroine work. She had made a number of videos as Wonder Woman, and the content matched my sensibilities — it looked fun and well-executed. I had scheduled an UltraGirl shoot with her prior to my layoff, but when the layoff happened, I had to make some financial adjustments to ensure I had enough in savings to cover my home responsibilities and still follow through with our visit. I’m really glad we made it work.

We shot in Orlando, and this was Ama’s first time wearing the UltraGirl costume. During our days shooting together, she brought a lot of energy to the shoots with her great acting skills. She knows how to play both parts — UltraGirl and her secret identity — which really enhanced the content. We created both photos and videos, shooting some secret identity and UltraGirl scenes as well as some content outside. I always checked with her to ensure that the scenes were acceptable to her, and we had a great time working together.

Fun fact: I was interviewing for a new job at the same hotel where we shot. I had attended a convention there as unemployed but networked my way to some interviews. I ended up getting the job!
