synopsis: Two UltraGirls (Ayla Aysel and Whitney Morgan) from two different universes are transported to The Hunter’s Lair universe and become the latest victims to The Purge’s overall plans.
fun facts: The title for this video is an homage to the landmark comic book story, “Flash of Two Worlds!” that was published in The Flash #123 (Sept. 1961) which introduced Earth-Two, and more generally the concept of the multiverse, to DC Comics.
This also is the first mention of The Purge, the big bad of the series. He was named “The Purge” since he was the adversary of The Collector … because what is the opposite of collecting? Purging.
Once Ayla wakes up Whitney, Whitney comments “he must have nabbed us with chloroform. Smells terrible.” This mimics a line from the Wonder Woman TV show episode “Formula 407” from season 1.
