SH Binder was looking to bring more diversity to the UltraGirl lineup, and Arielle Lane fit the role right away. This particular video was produced and released by Arielle herself rather than through one of the studios SH Binder usually scripts for, but since SH Binder wrote the script, the story still counts as part of the UltraGirl canon.
There’s nothing about the costume or her portrayal of the character that sets her apart from other performers — this entry is simply about Arielle joining the roster of women who have played UltraGirl. And she didn’t stop there; she’s gone on to appear as UltraGirl in other videos since this first outing.
