Friends:
Sometimes, life provides some not-so-subtle reminders of what’s important. This past Friday, I lost my uncle. He had gone into the hospital about 4 weeks ago for heart surgery. After a successful heart surgery and recovery, he suffered a VTAC storm (ventricular tachycardia storm) and a stroke. After 2 weeks in ICU and multiple interventions, he left us Valentine’s Day afternoon.
This and my hospitalization last August have been reminders to me that you never know when your last day is. This hobby of mine is enjoyable and it has been fun sharing my adventures with all of you. It has been affirming to know that many of you out there share my love of superheroines and the type of content that we promote on this blog.
I’m not sure what lies ahead, but I am re-evaluating how I am spending my time and resources. I still have some goals remaining to accomplish before the end of this year, so I hope you’ll be with me during this phase of my journey. I will try my best to keep the daily updates coming, but I’m sure I’ll be forgiven if I miss a day or two. Services for my uncle will be this upcoming weekend, so I’m sure posting will be the last thing on my mind. But I may schedule some things that will automatically post so I can focus my energies on supporting my family during this time.
Peace and health to you all. And thanks for reading.
